Eastern Nilotic

Also known as Plain Nilotes or Maa-Lotuko-Teso. Includes the Maa-speaking peoples (Maasai, Samburu), Turkana, Teso, and Karamojong. Characterised by pastoral nomadism across the open plains and savannahs of the Rift Valley.
